Drop Caps: Help readers start reading

Drop caps are large capital letters used at the beginning of a paragraph or section. They catch the reader’s eye and show where new content starts. There’s even research that says that they help establish a clear visual hierarchy, improve memory and recall, and increase reading speed without sacrificing comprehension.

To create drop caps, add the .drop-cap, class to any letter or words in a paragraph for emphasis.
